How to get started 1

How to get started on DFMA/CE, Volume 1 - out of print

"Making your first project a World Class success."

The volume 1 of technical papers on the application of Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DFMA®) and Concurrent Engineering (CE) techniques represents the most successful approaches and case studies presented during the first six International Forums on DFMA from 1986 to 1992.

Each paper explains the process steps and priorities applied by companies, and individual design teams, to implement DFMA and CE. Many papers include the details and results of the initial case study projects attacked by the companies design teams. You will find a wide variety of industries, competitive environments, and product types, each having excellent success as documented.

Boothroyd Dewhurst, Inc., have compiled this collection to assist DFMA implementers in gaining the powerful benefits of DFMA/CE as rapidly as possible, and on a sustainable basis. Study the papers in detail to discover both the differences and commonality with the companies and teams involved and your own organisation.
