DFMA Implementation Workshop
These hands-on workshops help teams quickly and effectively begin
to use and implement DFMA. Starting with some introductions to the
DFMA techniques, and concluding with analyses of your own products,
it's a perfect method to begin integration of DFMA into your
company's product development process. Make your next product your
first DFMA success story.
Workshop Benefits
- Trains teams in the principles and benefits of DFMA
concurrent engineering strategies
- Provides a hands-on understanding of how DFMA works in a
concurrent engineering environment
- Leaves participants with a thorough understanding of the
theories behind DFMA along with case-study examples of the
success of these tools
- Gives team members a structured example of team use of DFMA
from which to build their own programs
- Helps users realise immediate design improvements on their
own company products
- Encourages design creativity, teamwork and innovation
Workshop results
- Overall product cost
- Assembly and manufacturing efficiency
- Customer satisfaction
- Product quality and reliability
- Time-to-market launch cycles
- Number of post-release design changes
- Ease of service, repair and recycling
- Overhead requirements for design, operations and support
functions
